Case Studies

From concept to physical reality.

We work with artists, designers, students and brands to transform ideas into carefully manufactured objects.

Test

Reviewing scale, structure, material and printability.

Manufacture → Finish → Deliver

Producing final parts, completing surface treatment and preparing the work for presentation or use.

More than manufacturing

LILIS LAB works across design, digital fabrication and visual production. Each project begins with a different challenge, from developing a printable structure to selecting materials, improving durability or preparing a finished piece for exhibition.

We support the full process, from early ideas and technical development to manufacturing, finishing and final presentation.

Idea and design focus on purpose and model preparation. Testing reviews scale, structure, material and printability. Manufacture, finish and delivery cover production, surface treatment, assembly and presentation.

Sculptural Footwear Prototype

Fashion / FDM Printing / TPU 90A

A full-scale sculptural footwear prototype produced for an independent designer. LILIS LAB prepared the file for flexible printing, reviewed orientation and supports, and produced the final pair on a Bambu Lab P1S.

Confirmed process: 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.30 mm layer height. The displayed print job was estimated at 8 hours 19 minutes.
