ABOUT THE ARTIST
Di Meng is a London-based ceramic artist whose practice explores the relationship between intention, material and unpredictability. Through hand-building, material experimentation and repeated firing, her work embraces the unexpected effects of clay, glaze and fire. Organic forms and textured surfaces reflect ideas of growth, transformation and resilience, while each piece retains visible evidence of its making. Across different series, her practice explores the tension between fragility and strength, order and disorder, creating ceramic objects that carry a sense of movement, emotion and quiet intensity.
